How Texas Tower – American Grill & Bar uses the personal data you share through this website, and the choices you have. Last updated 17 October 2026 (version 2026-10-17).
In short
- We collect what you type into our forms and the chat, plus the minimum needed to run the site safely (your cookie choice, a scrambled IP for abuse protection and our host’s server logs). Analytics runs only if you switch it on.
- Booking and enquiry details are used only to handle your request. We don't sell them or use them for marketing.
- We delete them automatically 13 months after your booking or event date.
- Optional cookies stay off until you choose. You can change your choice at any time.

Who we are
Texas Tower – American Grill & Bar (“Texas Tower”, “we”) runs the restaurant at 9th Floor, IT Park, Stellar Spaces, Kharadi South Main Road, opp. Zensar, Rakshak Nagar, Kharadi, Pune, Maharashtra 411014 and this website, texastower.in. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”) and the DPDP Rules, 2025, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here: we decide why and how it is used.

What we collect and why
This is everything the website collects. We don't buy data about you or collect it from other sources.

We never ask for payment details, government ID numbers or health information on this website. Please don't include them in a message.
Cookies and your choices
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use only the ones below. Optional cookies are off until you switch them on, and without JavaScript they never load. We don't use advertising or social media tracking pixels, and our Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Zomato and District buttons are plain links: nothing loads from those services until you click one.

Google Maps. Our map stays a picture until you press “Show map”. Only then does it load from Google, which may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy. You can use “Directions” to open Google Maps in a new tab instead.
Google Analytics. If you switch Analytics on, Google Analytics runs with Google signals and ad personalisation off. Read how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, as easily as you gave it. Switching Analytics off stops it straight away and deletes its cookies from this site.
Why we are allowed to use it
Details you give us for a booking or enquiry. Section 7(a) of the DPDP Act allows us to use personal data you give us voluntarily for a specific purpose, such as booking a table, for that purpose. That is why the booking and enquiry forms have no consent tick box. You can tell us at any time that you no longer want us to use your details, and we will stop and delete them unless the law requires us to keep them.
Consent. For anything that isn't needed for your request, namely Analytics and the optional feedback email, we ask first. You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing doesn't affect what was done before, and it never affects your booking.
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal data or share it for advertising. Only Texas Tower staff who handle bookings and enquiries can see it, and these service providers handle it for us:
- Hostinger International Ltd. hosts this website, its database and our email.
- SourceKode Technologies, which builds and manages this website, receives a copy of booking and enquiry emails (in a Google Gmail inbox) to make sure they are delivered.
- Google LLC provides Google Analytics (only with your consent), the map (only when you press “Show map”) and Google Business Profile, when we reply to public reviews.
- WhatsApp (Meta), when you message us there or we confirm your booking on WhatsApp.
- Government or law-enforcement bodies, only when the law requires it.
Transfers outside India
Some of these providers process data outside India, for example Google in the USA. The DPDP Act (section 16) allows this unless the Government of India restricts transfers to a particular country, and we will follow any such restriction.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it, then a daily automatic task deletes it. The retention periods below are what our system enforces today. When Rule 8(3) of the DPDP Rules, 2025 applies (from 13 May 2027), we will keep the minimum processing records it requires for one year.

If you ask us to delete your details sooner, we will, unless we still need them for your booking or the law requires us to keep them.
How we protect it
The website uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Form data is stored outside the public part of the web server, the staff dashboard is password-protected, and the IP addresses we use for abuse protection are scrambled before storage. Only staff who need the details for your booking or enquiry can see them. If a personal data breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
Your rights
The DPDP Act's rights for individuals apply from 13 May 2027 (under the DPDP Rules, 2025). We already honour them now. You can ask us to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you, what we do with it, and who we have shared it with (section 11).
- Correct, complete or update it (section 12).
- Erase it, unless we still need it for your booking or the law requires us to keep it (section 12).
- Withdraw consent for Analytics or the feedback email at any time (section 6(4)). For cookies, use “Cookie & privacy choices” at the foot of any page.
- Raise a grievance with us about how we have handled your data (section 13).
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to (section 14).
How to ask: email care@texastower.in with “Privacy request” in the subject, or call +91 80878 20044. So that we can find your details, and to check it's really you, tell us the phone number or email address you used on the form. We will reply as soon as we can, and always within 90 days.

Complaints to the Data Protection Board of India
If you are not satisfied with our reply to your grievance, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India once its complaint route under the Act applies (from 13 May 2027). The DPDP Act (section 13(3)) asks you to use our grievance process first. The Board works as a digital office, and its complaint portal is announced by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology at meity.gov.in.
Children
Our online forms and the “Ask us” chat are meant for adults aged 18 or over. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to make the booking or enquiry for you. We don't knowingly collect children's personal data online, and we never track children or target them with advertising. If we learn that a child has sent us their details without a parent or guardian, we will delete them.
Language and changes
You can ask us for this notice in English or in any language listed in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India, such as Hindi or Marathi. When we change this notice we update the date and version at the top. If the change affects what the optional cookies do, we ask for your choice again.
